What is the profile of Sbarro's Franchisees?
You must be a high-energy person who is motivated to serve others, communicates effectively, and have a successful track record in business management at the level required to operate a high-volume Sbarro. You must also have the energy and will to set the pace in a fast-paced environment, and do so for long periods of time. Prior restaurant experience is always a plus.
What are the required demographics for an Sbarro Franchise?
Pre-entry site evaluation will examine the demographics for a prospective Sbarro site, and assist you in your successful entry. In general, site requirements include a populated area with a large number of people within a 5-mile radius and high traffic counts.
What is involved in the application and approval process?
Our process requires that you visit our corporate headquarters in Melville, New York for interviews and an evaluation. Prior to opening your restaurant or concession, qualified applicants will have to complete our training program at Sbarro corporate headquarters or our Regional Training Center.
How long does it take to become a Sbarro Franchisee?
Our Franchise selection process is quite thorough and is designed to ensure that both Sbarro and the prospective franchisee have made an informed business decision before entering into a contract. Therefore, the process to open a Sbarro franchise can vary from applicant to applicant.
Does Sbarro offer financing for me?
No. However, we can refer you to third party financial institutions.
