Barbecue season has arrived! Starting August 5, Sbarro is bringing a taste of summer to your nearest eatery with their latest premium menu item. The new Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken Pizza features fresh ingredients and the season’s most celebrated flavors.
This limited time offering combines a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce with grilled chicken, red onions, fire-roasted corn, 100% whole milk mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Italian parsley and a BBQ spice-rubbed crust complete the recipe. As with all Sbarro pizzas, every pie starts with freshly made dough that is made in-house daily and hand-stretched for each pizza.
“We were inspired by the classic summer ingredients we all love,” said Dwayne Adams, Sbarro’s VP of Culinary. “This new recipe offers a unique twist on the Sbarro slice that we think our customers will really enjoy.”
Guests can also upgrade to a combo meal for added value at a minimal additional charge. The Sweet & Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza will be available for purchase in participating eateries through October.
